Sealed VPS(Variable Position System)

Our VPS (Variable Positioning System) is designed and manufactured to help assist in lamp assembly by providing variable tolerance adjustment features. This assembly reduces assembly labor and improves the quality of “gap and flush” to the vehicle body.

• Minimizes lens-to-sheet metal gap variance during lamp assembly to vehicle
• Quality improvement: ratchet-stop installation improves lamp-to-vehicle assembly
• Eliminates assembly operator influence on gap variance
• VPS assembly is totally attached to Tail Lamp eliminating the separate grommet purchase and installation to vehicle for current systems
• VPS remains on the lamp during removal and assembly and is reusable
• Seal option is available for applications requiring the sheet metal hole area to be sealed off
